Diapering
In the early months of your newborn’s life, your little munchkin will seem to do nothing but poop and pee, keeping you on permanent diaper duty. You will need to brace yourself for a torrent of diaper changes. Cordon off a place to use as a changing station. It can be anything from a dresser, a desk or full-on changing table. It should, regardless of what it is, be, at a minimum, 36″ to 43″ above the floor, so you can change diapers without excessing bending. If you are not sure about measurements, your local boutique baby store should be able to help. The legs should be steady, we don’t want any accidents! Have plenty of storage space so you can keep everything you need. The changing pad can be flat or contoured, either is fine, preferably, one with a strap that you can fasten around your baby like a belt. Outfit your changing station with the following:
